America and the UK share a rich history and many traditions, principles,standards and beliefs. Central to these are human rights and support for workers, and a belief that wherever possible to do so, work is good for individuals and for our countries it is good that people go to work and contribute to the economy and support themselves and their families...
Labor Day, the first Monday in September, is a creation of the labor movement and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers.
